He is internationally renowned for his knowledge of wild game and Indigenous cooking techniques and was the creator of the very first Indigenous catering company in Toronto. As a culinary consultant, Wolfman leads workshops in Indigenous culinary and cultural tourism and family meal planning. He is a popular motivational speaker at First Nation youth conferences, business association gatherings, and career fairs.He is also devoted to helping students discover their passion for Indigenous cuisine and tech-niques as a culinary arts professor at George Brown College. He introduced wider audiences to Indigenous Fusiontraditional foods with a modern twistas executive producer and host of Cooking with the Wolfman, his own TV series, which aired on APTN from 1999 to 2017. His cookbook, Cooking with the Wolfman: Indigenous Fusion, was co-written with his partner, Marlene Finn. She is the founder of Cheekbone Beauty Cosmetics Inc., a revolutionary cosmetics company that features high-quality, vegan, cruelty-free beauty products designed for low environmental impact and maximum wearability. After the idea came to her in a dream, Harper knew that she wanted to create a line of beauty products that enabled Indigenous people to see themselves represented in the beauty industry. Harper didnt let a lack of formal training stop her, working with chemists and sustainability experts to create products that embody beauty and sustainability. She has ensured that a key part of Cheekbone Beautys mandate is to give back to the community while promoting Indigenous ways of knowing and being. The company has donated over $150,000 of cash and in-kind products to organizations that support Indigenous youth and women across Turtle Island.
