Early in the year, the association led a coalition of industry groups in a letter to Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc, urging relief from Canadian countermeasures tied to U.S. tariffs. This culminated in the April bulletin Price Escalation and Supply Chain Challenges, which offered practical guidance to contractors navigating volatile pricing. The May 5-6 Mid-Year Meetings in Ottawa included an economic impact presentation by BuildForce Canada and Prism Economics and Analysis, outlining key findings in MCACs study on the economic impact of the mechanical contractingUPCOMING EVENTSsector.
