b'IRE 2024 International Roofing Expo 2024T he 2024 International Roofing Expo (IRE) and the U.S.s National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) 137th Annual Convention brought the industry together in Las Vegas from February 6 to 8.Attendees from across the world had three days to explore a show floor with more than 180,000 square feet of exhibit space at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The exhibits consisted of more than 600 companies showcasing their latest products, as well as live demonstrations and hands-on roofing clinics geared at fueling discovery in the booming roofing trade.Those experiences enhanced what roofing contractors learned, saw and experienced throughout the expo. The show boosted eight educational tracks covering 45 topics across more than 100 sessions from a wide range of experts from roofing and other fields.Showcasing the tools and equipment roofing contractors need to help improve their business is a highly antici-pated aspect of the show every year, and the Vegas show didnt disappoint in that area.The Exteriors Pavillion, which was launched in 2022, continues to grow and featured exhibits and demonstrations geared to contractors that have diversified their businesses to include cladding, decking and glazing.While IRE is a regular stop for Canadian roofing professionals no matter where it is located, Las Vegas always draws a large contingent from north of the borderespecially this year, with the city also hosting the Super Bowl that particular week.
