b'FACTS & FIGURESMANITOBA BUILDING PERMITS JUNE 2024According to Statistics Canada, building permit numbers through June 2024 were up more than 17 per cent compared to the same time period in 2023. Commercial building permits were up 15 per cent compared to June 2023, while institutional building permits were up 44 per cent and industrial permits increased by 67 per cent. The non-residential side as a whole was up about 33 per cent compared to last year.Residential permits through June 2024 were up more than six per cent compared to 2023.
