The OCS message centres around fostering strong partnerships for sustainable growth. Their guiding principles of public pro-curement include fiscal responsibility, consistency, fairness and achieving social and economic objectivesall this building a case for trust beyond the lowest bid.OCS had become aware that the OIRCA is a rather unique construction association on many levels. In the podcast, I am asked several questions about how OIRCA operates as it relates to assisting those organizations that procure roofing services. I discuss OIRCAs unique application process and annual membership audit system and how our mission is to assure, through accountability, excellence in roofing construction. Both our association and our membership are accountable to the building owner. The podcast has been circulating through various social media channels, including LinkedIn. It has received positive reviews and is an excellent discussion about our priorities as a construc-tion trade association.ThepodcastmaybeviewedbyvisitingtheOCSwebsiteaticiconstruction.com/ 2025/04/03/ocs-talks-podcast.16ONTARIO ROOFING NEWSISSUE 4 2025/26 THE ONLY SOURCE FOR PROFESSIONAL ICI ROOFING CONTRACTORS IN ONTARIO ORN'
