Rooted in Indigenous perspectives, Fleming College offers transitional support, cultural programming, one-to-one student support, and relationships with Indigenous organizations and local service providers. A tipi at Sutherland Campus and Indigenous Student Services departments at both Frost and Sutherland campuses ensure spaces for students to connect with their culture and others. Students at Haliburton Campus can also access support from Indigenous Student Services by phone, email, and regular visits from staff.I consider Indigenous Student Services one of my saviors during my time at Fleming. I gained more than just a support system I gained relationships from both the staff and students who accessed the Indigenous Student Services department.
