b'tooI make it a plate, and I go put it on the stand. If there are repairs that need to be made, I do those repairs. But when that staff is called upon to go somewhere, I take it apart, I pack it up and I hit the road and I make sure it gets to where it needs to go, and Im there with it the entire time.One of the challenges is theres a lot of travel involved with it. So [theres] a little bit of wear and tear on my vehicle, but thats something that I can deal with. Sometimes theres last-minute notices, or there are emergencies that pop up and I have to drop everything that Im doing and make sure the staff gets there safely. But Im honoured to do it, and I take great pride in the work I do.What has being an Eagle Staff carrierthat community is important. When IIve had community members from taught you? go there, Im not just there as myself, butcertain communities say, Thank you so PD: It has taught me a lot of patience,as a carrier to this Eagle Staff. And itsmuch for bringing this out, it means a lot. understanding, but also what it meansreally taught me more about unity, whatThey see not only myself and that Eagle when such an item goes to a community,it truly means to that community that theStaff there, but its almost like the entirety right? A community that may be hurting,staff is there.
