b'FACTS & FIGURESMANITOBA BUILDING PERMITS MARCH 2023According to Statistics Canada, building permit numbers through March 2023 are up 5.2 per cent compared to March 2022.Commercial building permits in March 2023 are down almost 25 per cent compared to 2022, while institutional building permits are up more than 140 per cent and industrial permits are up more than 10 per cent. The non-residential side as a whole is up just under one per cent compared to 2022.Residential permits in March 2023 are up more than eight per cent compared to 2022.
