Here is what we learned about these properties to help meeting and event planners stay ahead of the curve:HTEL-MUSE PREMIRES NATIONS Wendake, QCThe second phase of the Htel-Muse Premires Nations renovation plans wrapped up at the end of August 2023. This Indigenous-owned and -run boutique hotel is located in Wendake, Quebec on Huron-Wendat First Nation land and features the opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and history of the Huron-Wendat people. The renovations included the addition of 24 new rooms and suites, a new wing, a three-storey sunroom, additional meeting space and revamped hotel dcor and its restaurant La Traite.The hotel, which is only a 20-minute drive from downtown Quebec City, now has 83 rooms and suites. A feature of the hotel is the Huron-Wendat Museum, an institution dedicated to the history and knowledge of the Huron-Wendat Nation. Activities for guests centre around First Nations experiences located all around the hotel site. For meetings and events, Htel-Muse Premires Nations has more than 7,000 sq. ft. of space across 13 rooms. Their ABC room holds 220 people and can be divided into three separate rooms, and the new Kabir Kouba room accommodates up to 70 people. The Akiawenrahk room and workshop lounges provide space for smaller groups.
