In the face of continued violence against Indigenous women, the Medicine Lines of WomanhoodMMIWG Commemorative Art Project emerges as a powerful symbol of resilience, healing and unity. It illuminates a path towards healing and awareness, transforming personal grief into collective strength. The project has not only provided a platform for voices of those affected by MMIWG, but it has also cultivated a sense of community and connection, even in the digital world. The art pieces, each a poignant tribute to a lost loved one, serve as a call to action, urging the nation to address the ongoing violence against Indigenous women and girls.
