Maurice also served as the provincial vice-president for the Canadian Construction Association and remained FREEDOM SPRINKLER INC. active with WCA for many years.In 1995, WCA recognized Maurice as an Honourary Life Member in PRIME FIRE SYSTEMS INC.recognition of his countless hours of work on government committees, joint industry meetings and efforts to progress construction in Manitoba. He was also key to the expansion of WCA's office on Burnell, even assigning a construction superintendent from his company to oversee the first six months of the building schedule.Maurice is the namesake for M.D. Steele and served as the company's first Interested in becoming president from its inception in 1993 until he retired in 1998, after 35 years in a WCA member? the industry.
