[I also aim] just to stabilize our finances and have a really robust understanding of where finances are drawn from and where we can look for opportunities to build that up. Obviously, we have a reserve established with 28 [housing] units on reserve. We want to also look at the next phase of housing and how we can begin to bring more people home to the reserve, but also at the same time creating job oppor-tunities and other opportunities for community members so that it makes them want to come back to this area.Is there anything else youd like to add?NV: I think this communitys strength really lies in our unity, our resilience, although sometimes thats a buzzword. For us as Caldwell people, [having spent] 230 years waiting are new: Environment Committee and On-Reserve Housingto have our reserve acknowledged, I think that speaks to our Committee. Now we have citizens on reserve, so its going toresilience. Its been a really solid path laid by our ancestors be important to listen to their needs as well as the housingand previous leadership for 230 years to bring us to where needs off reserve. Its just a different perspective. Were excitedwe are today, and its our obligation to keep laying that to get those rolling into the next month. Thats something newstrong foundation.
