This innovative, multi-purpose facility is designed to set new standards in climate-resilient architecture, educating and inspiring visitors to make environmentally conscious choices. The project includes the construction of a two-storey, 18,000-square-foot commercial building, as well as a new pedestrian and cyclist bridge across Muir Lake, creating a direct connection to FortWhyte Alives extensive trail system.Buffalo Crossing is set to become a landmark project in Winnipeg, integrating a high-performance building envelope with advanced passive design and building principles. Intricate coordination of complex building systems, along with meticulous quality control and commissioning during construction, were critical to maximizing energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.
