returned 
in 
June, 
bringing roofing contractors, 
manufacturers, suppliers, provincial 
roofing associations and industry 
partners together to celebrate the 
people, projects and professionalism 
that define Canada’s roofing sector.
“National Roofing Week is 
about recognizing the people be-
hind Canada’s built environment,” 
says Paul Forgues, executive direc-
tor of CRCA. “During this week 
of recognition, CRCA is focused 
on the future: driving innovation, 
elevating standards and building a 
stronger, more resilient roofing in-
dustry across the country.”
The annual campaign ran from 
June 7 to 12, 2026. Throughout 
the week, CRCA members and 
partners from across its national in-
dustry network, including OIRCA,

were invited to showcase their 
work by sharing photos, videos 
and stories on their online chan-
nels (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, 
Instagram and X) to highlight the 
importance of roofing systems 
and the skilled professionals who 
install and maintain them.
This year’s daily themes included:
•  Sunday, June 7: Women in 
Roofing – Celebrating and 
promoting women in the 
roofing trade.
•  Monday, June 8: Signa-
ture Projects – Highlight-
ing notable roofing jobs in 
the industrial, commercial 
and institutional sectors. 
CRCA also joined in on 
this day to announce the 
winner of its latest Roof-
ing Canada Award, further 
showcasing the industry’s

tion in action.
•  Tuesday, June 9: Chari-
table Projects/Events – 
Demonstrating how roof-
ing companies give back to 
their communities through 
donations, sponsorships 
or involvement in chari-
table events.
•  Wednesday, June 10: Em-
ployee Appreciation – Rec-
ognizing individuals who 
contribute to the indus-
try’s success and sustain-
ability. Murray Tysowski, 
for example, earned a spot-
light from CRCA’s social 
accounts after receiving 
its Honorary Membership 
award in recognition of his 
role in shaping the industry.
