high-energy business events. Nearby,
Centre Mont-Royal delivers a turnkey
experience with 17 meeting rooms, a
Symposia Theatre and terrace space.
Along the waterfront, the Grand
Quay of the Port of Montréal brings
Old Montréal into view for standout
events. Together with major hotels
like Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth,
Le Centre Sheraton Montréal Hotel,
Montréal Marriott Château Champlain
and Hôtel Bonaventure Montréal, the
area offers both scale and flexibility for
gatherings of all sizes.
SHARING PLATES,
MAKING CONNECTIONS
Montréal offers no shortage of
dynamic networking experiences.
Supper clubs like Yoko Luna, Bord’elle
and Santos Tapas Bar blend upscale
dining with lively lounge atmospheres,
while Braindate facilitates peer-to-
peer knowledge sharing “like a date
for like-minded business people,”
while Yulism shakes up the traditional
networking models through tailored,
innovation-driven experiences.
Meanwhile, the city’s world-famous
comedy circuit runs through its stages
and basements, complemented by
a diverse mix of pubs, barcades, art
hubs and live music venues.
Few experiences bring people
together quite like food. Here again,
Montréal delivers, with a rich lineup
of Michelin-starred restaurants,
celebrity chefs and interactive culinary
experiences. Popular group options
include visits to food halls like Time
Out Market Montréal, Le Cathcart
and Le Central, while standout
venues such as Kyo Bar Japonais,
Restaurant Holder and Jardin Nelson
sit alongside icons like Schwartz’s Deli
and Fairmount Bagel.
Catering options are equally
diverse. Providers such as Maestro
Culinaire and Robert Alexis
Traiteur highlight seasonal Québec
ingredients, bringing a strong sense
of place to every plate. Groups can
also take advantage of private dining
rooms and full restaurant buyouts
across the city, where local chefs
showcase creativity and craft.
Montréal’s culinary culture also
lends itself to hands-on group
experiences, from guided food tours
and cooking classes to wine tastings,
non-alcoholic mixology sessions and
cocktail workshops, each offering a
natural setting for connection
and conversation.
GETTING THERE
Travel logistics can be a sticking
point for groups. Here is where
Montréal’s proximity to Montréal-
Trudeau International Airport offers an
advantage, providing direct service
to over 150 worldwide destinations
and future travel improvements
through a $10-billion renovation.
Montréal’s brand-new Montréal
Metropolitan Airport (MET) adds
further accessibility just 15 kilometres
from the city’s downtown. It handles
up to four million passengers annually
and is expected to add between
30 and 40 daily flights to the region’s
air network.
Accessibility is a defining feature
of Montréal itself. The “Underground
City” (RÉSO) is a 33-kilometre network
of climate-controlled pedestrian
corridors that link major hotels, the
Palais des congrès de Montréal,
shopping centres and metro
stations, allowing attendees to move
seamlessly between venues in
any weather.
