SOFITEL MONTREAL GOLDEN MILE
Montréal, QC
In October 2025, Sofitel Montreal
Golden Mile reopened its property
after a revitalizing renovation that has
transformed the venue. Located on
Sherbrooke Street in downtown Montréal,
the venue was built with the designer’s
goal to create “the spirit of a French
home.” The hotel is positioned in the
heart of Montréal, close to shops,
restaurants and many of the city’s most
famous attractions.
The hotel has 256 redesigned guest
rooms, including 17 suites. The meeting
and event spaces have also been
refreshed and redesigned. The site has
eight rooms that range from a capacity
of 80 to 250 (banquet seating). There is
one large ballroom (Picasso) that is 3,750
square feet and can be separated into two
rooms, as well as two small rooms set up
as boardrooms. The foyer area offers a
space connected to all event rooms
and is suitable for conference check-in
and buffets.
The hotel also features soundproof
walls and large windows to allow more
natural light into the event spaces. Menus
for events are created in-house by the
culinary team at the Renoir restaurant. The
venue also has in-house experts for the
event’s audio-visual needs.
