b'FACTS & FIGURESFACTS & FIGURESMANITOBA BUILDING PERMITS JULY 2021According to Statistics Canada, building permit numbers through July 2021 are up more than 20 per cent compared to the same time period in 2020.Non-residential permits continue to lag behind the residential side. In total, non-residential building permits are down almost7 per cent, although commercial permits (+9.14 per cent) and institutional permits (+16.86 per cent) are both in the black. Industrial permits are down over 46 per cent compared to 2020.Residential building permits continue to exceed their 2020 pace and are up by more than 40 per cent compared to July 2020.
