MESSAGE DU PRÉSIDENT
successful provincial initiatives. A sustainable workforce is 
the foundation of a sustainable industry.
Third, our role in technical and policy leadership has 
never been more important. Whether it’s building codes, 
procurement practices or emerging sustainability expecta-
tions, CRCA must continue to be a trusted national voice. 
The board is committed to strengthening our technical 
governance, prioritizing the committees that matter most 
and ensuring our industry’s expertise is heard where it counts.
Finally, strong governance is the backbone of a strong 
association. Over the next three years, we will modernize 
our governance practices, improve board training and 
enhance transparency through better reporting and perform-
ance measurement. This is about building a CRCA that is 
resilient, accountable and ready for the future.
With this being my final column as CRCA president 
and board chair, it feels fitting to reflect on the future we’re 
building together. 
I’m excited about the direction we’re heading, and even 
more excited about what we can accomplish together. On 
behalf of the CRCA Board of Directors, thank you for your 
continued support and engagement. The next three years will 
be transformative, and I look forward to working with all of 
you as we bring this strategic plan to life.

Le développement de la main-d’œuvre est un défi urgent. Le 
conseil soutient les efforts de l’ACEC pour promouvoir les carrières 
en couverture et s’inspirer des initiatives provinciales réussies, car 
une main-d’œuvre durable est essentielle à l’industrie.
Troisièmement, notre rôle de leadership technique et politique 
n’a jamais été aussi important. Qu’il s’agisse des codes du bâti-
ment, pratiques d’approvisionnement ou des attentes en matière 
de durabilité, l’ACEC doit continuer à être une voix digne de 
confiance. Le conseil s’engage à renforcer notre gouvernance tech-
nique, donnant priorité aux comités comptant le plus et en veillant 
à ce que l’expertise de l'industrie soit entendue là où elle compte.
Enfin, une gouvernance forte est la colonne vertébrale d’une 
association solide. Dans les trois prochaines années, nous amélio-
ront nos pratiques de gouvernance, amélioront la formation du 
conseil et renforceront la transparence en offrant de meilleurs 
rapports de rendement. Construire un ACEC résilient, responsable 
et prêt pour l’avenir.
Comme il s’agit de ma dernière chronique comme président 
du conseil, il est approprié de réfléchir à l’avenir que nous 
construisons ensemble. 
Je suis enthousiaste quant à notre direction et potentiel collectif. 
Au nom du conseil de l’ACEC, merci pour votre soutien. Les trois 
prochaines années seront transformantes, et j’ai hâte de concré-
tiser ce plan stratégique avec vous.
