meaningful
collaboration
across
the industry. His steady leadership,
professionalism and unwavering
commitment to members helped shape
CRCA into the trusted and respected
organization it is today.
This fall, CRCA staff – along with two
of Brunet’s longtime friends and former
CRCA presidents, Pierre Lafontaine and
Murray Tysowski – were honoured to
present the Honorary Membership award
in person at Brunet’s home. “I am truly
honoured to receive this award,” he said.
“During my time as executive director, I
always put the members first. Now, the
members are putting me first by awarding
me Honorary Membership. Thank you!”
Brunet’s
influence
continues
to
resonate across the roofing community,
and this Honorary Membership stands
as a lasting symbol of the respect and
gratitude he has earned nationwide. Our
heartfelt thanks to you as well, Bob!
Jacques Chevalier Scholarship
The future of Canada’s roofing industry
rests in the hands of its emerging talent.
With this in mind, the Jacques Chevalier
Scholarship supports CRCA members,
their employees, spouses or partners,
and children in pursuing post-secondary
education. Awarded to one undergraduate
student, the recipient is selected based
on academic achievement, character and
potential. This year’s recipient, Hannah
White, shines across the board.
Hannah White, the daughter of
Travis White, CEO of Atlantic Roofers,
is currently in her second semester of
studies in Television and Film Creation
at the College of the New Atlantic
in Stephenville, N.L. Her academic
commitment and personal drive reflect
the values behind this long-standing
CRCA program. As CRCA president Dan
Nosaty notes, “Hannah stood out among
a group of applicants for her dedication to
her studies and her clear sense of purpose
as she advances into her post-secondary
program. Her selection reflects CRCA’s
commitment to broadening opportunities
for deserving students and helping them
achieve their academic and life goals, a
core principle of the scholarship since
its inception.”
The Jacques Chevalier Scholarship is an
important part of CRCA’s commitment
