membership in the Winnipeg
Construction Association, has provided
Ital-Stone with valuable industry
connections, networking opportunities
and increased visibility within the
Manitoba construction community.
“The relationships established through
the WCA have contributed positively
to both our growth and long-term
partnerships within the industry,”
says Chagas.
As the company celebrates its
10-year milestone, Chagas says the
anniversary is ultimately about the
people who helped build the business.
“It represents the hard work, dedication
and commitment of our entire team, as
well as the trust and support we have
received from our clients, partners,
suppliers and industry colleagues over
the years.”
As Ital-Stone looks ahead to its next
chapter, the company’s focus remains
the same as it was 10 years ago:
combining craftsmanship, creativity and
collaboration to create spaces people
are proud to be part of.

What material or finish are clients
loving right now?
With summer on the way, we’ve been
involved in several cabin projects where
clients are choosing beautiful natural
stone for both indoor and outdoor
applications. Some standout examples
include stunning full-height fireplaces
and custom outdoor kitchens.

first 10 years?
As the new general manager of Ital-

together to provide clients with the best
result. From design and estimating to
the final product, it’s remarkable to see
dreams become reality.
What’s something clients don’t
realize goes into great stonework?
The amount of careful planning required
for each project. From securing materials
and coordinating deliveries to precise
templating, fabrication and installation,
every project requires the involvement
and care of our entire team.
If you could describe Ital-Stone in
three words, what would they be?
People. Passion. Service.
Favourite place for a work lunch?
One of our favourite traditions is our
company barbecues. Management does
the cooking, staff enjoy an afternoon
together, and the day usually includes
a bocce ball tournament with a trophy
awarded at the end.
departments collaborate closely and
staff meet weekly to review upcoming
projects together.
